I’m passionate about our cause and our work, the role looked amazing, and – having worked for a charity previously – I knew I’d be working alongside people who are driven, well-intentioned and supportive.

I have had various Cancer experiences within my family. I lost my dad when I was 10. My brother had Stage 3 cancer through 2019, we nearly lost him as well.

That triggered a re-alignment of my own values and where I wanted to go in my life.

Working in the People Advisory Team means I look after People, it’s a People-centric and stakeholder management focused role. I look after the needs of our colleagues, managers and key stakeholders making sure that everybody in their role is well supported.

We receive a lot of letters into the Head Office from supporters. We have a lot of supporters who choose to share their stories and their losses, their experience and their story with us. We love those letters and we especially love the letters from children involved in fundraising.
