Total Reward Manager
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

Location Split between home and our London Office
Salary Range £58500 - £63500 per annum
About the role
In this role you will be the subject matter expert on all topics Total Reward including but not limited to supporting in the development and implementation of Macmillan’s total reward and wellbeing frameworks, contributing towards the overarching Macmillan’s People & Culture Strategy. You will also be responsible for leading in identification, research and recommendation of new opportunities to expand our Total Reward offering helping to drive Macmillan as an employer of choice
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the Total Reward offer, ensuring it remains relevant, competitive and inclusive.
- Plan, collate and prepare the annual pay reporting and audits, such as equal pay, gender and inclusive pay gap reports, to ensure Macmillan’s pay practices are compliant and equitable providing clear insight, in-depth analysis and recommendations to the Head of Reward & Wellbeing.
- Manage Macmillan’s range of colleague benefits (except for Pensions), ensuring they provide value for money, are appropriate and relevant to Macmillan and provides an attractive offer to Macmillan colleagues and make recommendations for improvements to the Head of Reward & Wellbeing
- Manage Macmillan’s Job Evaluation process, taking an overview of all evaluated jobs to ensure consistency across the organisation and ensuring relevant colleagues receive training and guidance in the use of our online Job Evaluation tool.
- Carry out salary and benefits benchmarking exercises against relevant employers to ensure our offer remains competitive, appropriate, relevant, inclusive and meet legislative requirements
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Relevant HR Reward Management qualification or experience.
- Excellent knowledge of reward, benefits and recognition practices including
- statutory and legislative obligations, pay models, job evaluation frameworks and
- benchmarking tools.
- Past proven compensation and benefits experience in different organisations
- Experience in job evaluations, specifically WTW global grading or mercer evaluation frameworks.
- Benchmarking experience and market knowledge of roles.
