We are seeking a dynamic and experienced System Investments Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of system transformation investments across the UK. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful change, ensuring optimal performance, financial sustainability, and long-term benefits for people living with cancer.
About the Role:
As the System Investments Manager, you will:
- Lead a pipeline of system transformation initiatives aligned with Macmillan’s strategic objectives, applying repayable financing models.
- Manage contracts and partnerships to ensure successful project mobilisation, delivery, and sustainability.
- Oversee performance and financial analysis, ensuring projects meet outcome measures, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and community organisations.
- Act as a subject matter expert and represent Macmillan at external boards, forums, and conferences.
- Collaborate across teams to develop innovative funding models and deliver system transformation priorities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with strategic and operational partners in a collaborative and solution-focused manner.
- Demonstrates a proven track record of leading complex projects and managing contracts to successful outcomes.
- Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Has in-depth knowledge of the health and care sector, including funding models and regulatory frameworks.
- Is skilled in data analysis, performance management, and quality improvement.
- Brings a high degree of personal and professional credibility, integrity, and independent decision-making.
- Understands the complexities of system change and is committed to continuous learning and development.
You will collaborate with:
- Colleagues within the Partnerships Directorate and across Macmillan.
- External stakeholders in health and care systems, including senior executives and community organisations.
- People with lived experience of cancer and health inequities.
- Social investment intermediaries and consultants.
