Salary Range - National £32,000 - £36,000, London £35,500 - £39,500
About the role
The Service Knowledge Specialist role is integral to the work of the Macmillan Support Line. You will support the front line to provide the best service possible to people with cancer through the provision of specialist knowledge content and training. You will also support advisors with complex queries and use your knowledge to inform improvement projects across the services.
Responsible for the specialist knowledge needs of their specialist area of the Macmillan Support Line service, ensuring people living with cancer receive accurate information, guidance, and support via a fully informed front line work force. Adept at translating complex, detailed information into clear, easy to understand content for the Macmillan Support Line service.

About you:
- Experience of creating and delivering specialist knowledge to a high standard
- Have extensive specialist service-specific knowledge (Financial Guidance)
- Experience of effectively transferring knowledge to staff
- A strong background in content creation
- Excellent content delivery and presentation skills
- Experience of using data and analytics to measure impact and performance (desirable)
- Management of complex service specific processes and procedures and make changes to these as required (desirable)
