Salary Range £65,000 - £71,000 per annum
About the role
In this role you will work in our Test Team as part of the Engineering Division. Working with our Test Manager you will be responsible for defining and implementing our automation strategy including extension and maintenance of existing frameworks. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of testers to deliver testing manually but with a progression to automation.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a set of automation test frameworks. Working closely with Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure quality products through all types and stages of testing.
- Leading a team of both Manual and Automation Testers to deliver testing on the full development lifecycle focused on agile delivery.
- Developing the manual test team to learn and deliver automation over time, preparing training plans and ensuring your expertise is shared with the team.
- Building great relationships across Technology to enable our automation ambitions to be realised.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Experience: Strong Background in Automation testing defining and building effective frameworks from scratch.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of using C# and Selenium or similar to build frameworks.
- Leadership: Excellent Managing and Mentoring skills to enhance the skills of Manual Testers and Automation Engineers on their Automation journey.
- Development: A passion for developing Engineers and Non-Technical Testers in Automation to help realise our automation ambition.
- Desirable: Other Technical testing expertise such as performance testing tools.
