Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (3-6 month fixed-term contract)

Contract Type – Fixed-term (3-6 months) 
Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in our London Office) 
Salary Range: £65,500 - £71,500

About the role:

This is an exciting time for Talent Acquisition at Macmillan, as we continue to grow as a more strategic, specialist and data driven function, collaborating with teams and stakeholders across the organisation to drive our ambitions around truly inclusive recruitment.  

You will be a passionate EDI advocate, driving our mission to be representative of those that we support and help us to think about how we connect with a broader pool of talent and diversify the voices and colleague base within our organisation.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for advising senior leaders (up to CEO and board level) and collaborating with the wider business to ensure we attract the best skills and talent to deliver our ambitious new strategy. You can read more about this here Our strategy | Macmillan Cancer Support.

 About you – you will: 

  • Be a seasoned senior talent acquisition professional who has done a comparable role at the senior lead level and can autonomously lead complex processes with minimal supervision (please note, if you do not have this experience, we will unfortunately not be able to consider you for this role).   
  • Demonstrable and in-depth experience of recruiting at up to senior level in healthcare market, or social impact space (please note, if you do not have this experience, we will unfortunately not be able to consider you for this role).  
  • Have gained a breadth and depth of talent acquisition operational and project experience across a number of roles and or sectors. We are also open to those from an agency or search background.  
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing impactful and measurable EDI initiatives and being an ambassador for embedding true inclusion in all that you do. 
  • Skilled in understanding and working with data and insights, to shape meaningful narrative to drive future action and shape solutions.  
  • Significant experience in influencing senior stakeholders and facing into challenging conversations. 
  • Demonstrable experience of hiring for senior roles (up to c suite level and Board/Non-Executive Director roles), directly and managing partners where needed. 
  • Operate with a continuous improvement mindset, seeking out opportunities to streamline processes and maximise efficiencies and optimise the use of talent acquisition systems and tools.
