About the role
Macmillan are recruiting for a Senior Organisational Risk and Compliance Manager who will be delivering risk and compliance support to the Head of Risk and Assurance on organisational wide risk management and assurance; Information Security risk management and Technology compliance to legal, statutory or our internal standards.
You will part of a small team of 3 who have the responsibility for organisation risk and compliance oversight, delivery of the risk management framework, the management of internal audits and also business partnering with the directorates to help support the delivery of robust and effective risk management practices.
The overall division is made up of all the organisation’s risk related functions to ensure we effectively manage risk and opportunity across the organisation and further develop the risk maturity and culture.
This role requires candidates to have demonstrable experience of operating in a very similar or comparable role.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Experience of risk management, including the identification and evaluation of risks, and the creation of mitigating action plans.
- Experience of working within supplier and contract management.
- Strong track record of successfully collaborating effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams and working with an independent Information Security function.
- Experience of compliance, including audits and appropriate standards, for example ISO27001:201.
