About the role
Macmillan are seeking a People Development lead to join our internal Talent Team. This is a key role which, in conjunction with other members of the team, is responsible for the creation and development of engaging, interactive learning content, and programmes, which improve and support organisational performance.
As a People Development Lead you will liaise with stakeholders and business leads, across the whole organisation to deepen your knowledge of strategic priorities that drive our People and Culture plan, and the learning experiences we create. You will use that knowledge to design and develop engaging, innovative and impactful learning experiences
This role will play a part in all activity across the Talent team, this will include management development, facilitation, digital learning, talent programmes and skills development.
About you. You will have...
An appetite for taking risks and learning from them.
A desire to try new things and experimenting with different approaches to learning design and delivery.
A keen interest in creating impactful and accessible learning experiences through a variety of mediums including digital.
A thirst for developing your knowledge of current and future approaches to learning and learning technologies.
The ability to translate learning into performance improvement, both for yourself and the wider organisation.
An interest in management and leadership development.
