About us
At Macmillan you'll find talented people working together to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer. We're going all out to find even better ways to help even more people who need our support. Our values are at the heart of who we are and everything we do, inspiring our thinking and guiding our actions.

About the role

You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns that help us connect with the people who need us most. Working as part of our supportive and passionate marketing team, your work will directly contribute to raising awareness, driving relevance and uptake of Macmillan’s support services, ensuring that people living with cancer receive the support they need.

In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to get involved in a wide range of marketing activity — from supporting the development of the marketing plans and working to planned schedules and budgets, to tracking campaign expenditures and performance, to managing relationships with agency partners and internal teams and supporting the creation of compelling content. You’ll support Senior Marketing Managers with insight and data to shape product strategies and customer journeys. It’s a great opportunity to grow your marketing expertise, working on meaningful campaigns that make a real difference.

You will also be working on marketing communications aimed at engaging health and social care professionals. Working collaboratively with colleagues to help design a new membership offer that extends our reach and engagement across the wider workforce, helping ensure people with cancer receive the best possible care now and in the future.

About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Marketing experience including a good understanding of multi-channel campaign delivery
  • Experience tracking progress and/or performance of a campaign or project against objectives
  • Experience working to set schedules and managing spend within a project or campaign
  • Experience developing marketing communications targeted at healthcare professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across both internal and external stakeholders

In return, we offer a range of benefits including:

  • 25 days holiday plus flexible bank holiday options, increasing by 1 day every year of service up to 30 days
  • Pension matched up to 7.5%
  • 120+ learning and development offers, with access to external professional qualifications
  • Flexible working patterns, such as compressed hours, flexibility to work earlier or later around our core working hours of 10am-4pm
  • Holiday buying and selling scheme, life insurance, free wills, retail discounts and much more
