At Macmillan, we're committed to doing whatever it takes to support people living with cancer. Behind that mission is a Communications, Brand and Content division that helps millions of people access information, support and inspiration every year.

We're looking for an experienced Integration & Operations Lead to join us on a nine-month fixed-term contract, leading a critical programme of work that will strengthen how our Communications, Brand and Content teams work together.

This is an opportunity to shape the way an entire division plans, collaborates and delivers. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll design and embed new ways of working that improve alignment, streamline operations and create lasting improvements across multiple teams.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead a programme of operational and strategic improvement, including:

  • Developing an integrated planning approach across Communications, Brand and Content.
  • Improving governance, prioritisation and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Reviewing existing workflows to identify opportunities to reduce duplication and increase efficiency.
  • Designing and implementing sustainable operating models and delivery processes.
  • Supporting leaders to improve collaboration, resource planning and organisational effectiveness.
  • Leading the implementation of change, building engagement and ensuring new ways of working are successfully embedded.

About you

You'll bring significant experience leading organisational transformation, operating model redesign or strategic integration programmes within complex organisations.

You'll also have:

  • Experience working within communications, marketing, brand or content functions.
  • A strong understanding of cross-functional working and matrix organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience developing governance, planning and workflow frameworks.
  • Strong facilitation, change management and programme delivery skills.
  • A pragmatic, collaborative approach, combined with excellent organisational skills and emotional intelligence.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy bringing people together, simplifying complexity and turning strategy into practical, sustainable ways of working.

Why Macmillan?

Every day at Macmillan, you'll be helping us do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. You'll join a collaborative, supportive organisation where your work will have a genuine impact on how we deliver for those who need us most.

If you're an experienced transformation and operations professional who thrives on improving how organisations work, we'd love to hear from you.
