About the role
In this role you will work closely with the Partnerships directorate, providing expert support and advice on the existing evidence base, provide market and audience insight and partner to understand and develop key questions. You will develop expertise and understanding of Macmillan’s partnerships work, as well as the external context  strategy, and evidence base relevant to Macmillan's strategy.You will draw on technical and experiential know-how, knowledge of the organisation and evidence base in context, to develop and generate evidence to enable delivery of strategic objectives and ensure that activity is underpinned by insight and clear performance measures.About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of managing multiple complex projects in a matrixed environment requiring collaboration across a range of disciplines.
  • Good analytical skills to evaluate and support strategic objectives, processes and performance.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research, analysis tools and methodologies, and structured thinking techniques including working with minoritised communities.
  • Experience of designing or overseeing monitoring, evaluation and learning for complex programmes 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor style and approach to suit a variety of audiences and purposes, synthesising information from multiple sources and translating complex information where necessary.
  • Knowledge of the UK health and social care landscape and how it relates to Macmillan's strategic objectives to reduce health inequities, reduce variation in treatment and care and support people living with cancer and other long term conditions.
