At Macmillan, we'll do whatever it takes to help people living with cancer. Every conversation, every decision and every action we take is driven by our purpose of ensuring no one faces cancer alone. To achieve that, we need an inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong and can contribute their best. We know that creating that culture doesn't happen through strategy documents alone - it happens when people connect with ideas, understand them and feel inspired to take action.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a talented Content Creator to help bring our Inclusion Strategy, No Gaps Greenprint and Culture Framework to life through engaging, accessible and impactful content that reaches colleagues across the organisation.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves turning complex ideas into compelling stories and practical resources that people genuinely want to read, watch and use.

About the role

Working as part of a passionate and ambitious Inclusion & Culture team, you'll transform complex ideas, strategies and frameworks into engaging, accessible content that colleagues genuinely want to read, watch and interact with.

From developing presentations for senior leaders and creating practical playbooks to producing learning resources and organisation-wide campaigns, you'll collaborate with colleagues across People & Culture, Internal Communications, Brand and wider teams to uncover stories, bring them to life and shape how Macmillan communicates some of its most important strategic priorities.

Every piece of content you create will help colleagues understand what inclusion means in practice, inspire meaningful action and contribute to building a culture where everyone feels they belong.

This isn't a social media role. Instead, we're looking for someone who loves creating meaningful content across a variety of formats, including:

  • Videos and multimedia content
  • Playbooks, guides and practical toolkits
  • Presentation decks and workshop materials
  • Learning resources and e-learning content
  • Webinars and facilitator resources
  • Internal communications and organisational campaigns
  • Infographics and visual storytelling assets

You'll be trusted to think creatively, challenge how information is presented and continually look for better ways to engage colleagues. Alongside creating exceptional content, you'll champion inclusive communication, ensuring everything you produce is accessible, reflects a range of voices and experiences, and aligns with Macmillan's values, brand and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

About you

You'll be an excellent storyteller with a flair for creating engaging content in a variety of formats.

You'll have experience of:

  • Creating engaging digital and written content for internal audiences.
  • Turning complex information into clear, accessible and engaging communications.
  • Producing presentations, learning resources, guides, campaign materials and other creative assets.
  • Using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborating across different teams.
  • Creating content that reflects inclusive communication and accessibility best practice.

A solid understanding of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), including key concepts and terminology is fundamental to this role.

Why join Macmillan?

Everything we do is driven by our purpose: helping everyone living with cancer get the best care, the best treatment and the best support.

You'll be joining a supportive and ambitious team that's committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Your work will have a genuine impact on colleagues across the organisation and help shape how we communicate some of our most important strategic priorities.

How to apply

As part of your application, please submit examples of work that demonstrate your content creation skills. These could include presentations, videos, guides, toolkits, learning materials, campaign assets or other relevant examples that showcase your ability to communicate complex information in engaging and accessible ways.
