About the team
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious High Value Stewardship & Operations team, part of the newly formed Partnerships Directorate, which is dedicated to building impactful, long-term relationships with philanthropists, corporate partners, and healthcare professionals.
You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing high value supporters into the heart of Macmillan, unlocking significant support to help tackle some of the most complex challenges facing people living with cancer, and the wider cancer care system.

About the role
Are you a strategic and creative professional committed to delivering exceptional experiences for high value supporters?
We are seeking an experienced High Value Stewardship Manager to provide an exceptional supporter experience for corporate partners and philanthropic supporters. You will develop and deliver a compelling programme of communications and recognition opportunities for Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy audiences, using stories to bring Macmillan’s work to life and demonstrate the impact high value supporters are having for people living with cancer.
You will collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy to understand their audience needs and prioritise initiatives that will have the greatest impact on supporter experience and retention, ultimately ensuring we deliver the income required to fund our work for people living with cancer.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering a programme of compelling communications for Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy audiences, from thought leadership opportunities to stories about our impact for people living with cancer
- Developing compelling content to support our engagement events series, using panel discussions and other formats to bring high value supporters closer to Macmillan
- Developing and implementing a high value donor thanking and recognition framework
- Delivering bespoke pieces that recognise significant milestones in donors’ giving
- Providing coordination across the division around key stewardship moments in the calendar, like the launch of our Annual Report
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt communications effectively to suit a range of supporters
- Understanding of visual design principles and ability to produce creative content that is professional and engaging
- Strong partnering skills and ability to understand the needs of colleagues and supporters
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to deliver creative solutions
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and balance multiple priorities
