Job Title: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Leads x 2 roles
Contract Type: Permanent 
Full time (34.5 hours) - we are open to a conversation about how you work these hours
Location – Hybrid split between home and our London office ( 1-2 days in the office weekly)
Salary Range - £58,500 - £64,500

This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll work across teams to ensure our policies, culture and ways of working reflect our commitment to inclusion — internally for our workforce and externally in how we support communities. 

💡 What you’ll do: 

  • Lead the development and delivery of Macmillan’s inclusion strategy. 
  • Partner with senior leaders and wider people teams (such as Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and People & Culture) to embed inclusive practices across all functions. 
  • Design and deliver impactful workshops and learning sessions. 
  • Support inclusive recruitment and talent development. 
  • Oversee and grow our colleague networks. 
  • Use data and insight to measure progress and drive meaningful change. 
  • Champion inclusive systems and processes across the organisation. 
  • Work with external stakeholders to embedded EDI external (volunteering, community, participation, fundraising) 
  • Provide an evidence-based by using data to effectively guide and measure outcomes  
  • Build internal capability through training toolkits and campaigns 

 

💚 What you’ll bring: 

  • Extensive experience leading inclusion strategies, ideally in the charity sector (though not essential). 
  • Deep knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion legislation and best practice across the UK. 
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Skilled in analysing data, adopting evidence--based/data driven approach and confident working with people/EDI data to benchmark, monitor and evaluate 
  • Experience working across complex matrix organisations with stakeholder's at all levels including volunteers  
  • Experience in bringing a unified EDI approach and working in an organisation where EDI is embedded externally in volunteering, community, participation, research and bringing this into the internal workforce to build one strategy. 

 

Relevant qualifications in people development or learning and development are desirable, as is experience working in complex organisations and leading high-performing teams.
