Are you eager to learn new skills in an operational supporter care environment within a large and successful charity? We believe in potential. If you're passionate, dedicated, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.

The Supporter Care department are looking for Donations & Recognition Advisors to join our team. There are opportunities in both our Donations Processing and Donations Queries Teams. While you’ll gain experience in both areas, you may focus on one depending on priorities. Plus, you'll be at the heart of our mission, ensuring every contribution is acknowledged and celebrated.

In this crucial role, you’ll help ensure we process high volume donations accurately and efficiently, while handling supporter donation queries. Using multiple systems, including CRM, SMS (internal income system), SharePoint, DotDigital, Raiser's Edge, and Microsoft Office tools, you will follow internal processes to complete tasks independently.

This role is responsible for delivering meaningful and personalised thank you letters and cards to our supporters, acknowledging the difference their contribution has made in supporting people living with cancer.

You will support and collaborate with internal teams across Macmillan, including Finance & Fundraising teams to ensure donations, supporter communications and event registrations are managed effectively and undertake a range of administration duties to support the smooth and effective operation of the Donations & Recognition team.

The skills and experience we are looking for in this role are:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work in a timely manner to meet deadlines and targets.
  • This role is ideal for someone comfortable with repetitive tasks and skilled in high- volume data processing in order to deliver consistent high-quality results.
  • Skilled in office systems and processes such as Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Customer service experience with strong written communication skills.
