About the Role:
As a Communications Officer, you will develop and deliver impactful communication plans to build awareness, trust, and engagement with Macmillan. Working across teams, you will create compelling content, manage internal and external messaging, and support our digital and social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative communication plans.
- Produce engaging content across multiple channels.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support social media and internal communication platforms.
- Identify and respond to media and reputational opportunities.
- Ensure people affected by cancer are at the heart of our communications.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve communication strategies.
About You:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in delivering audience-focused communications.
- Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- A flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach.
- Passion for Macmillan’s mission and values.
