What is the role?
As a member of the Customer Experience team, you will provide expertise on interpreting research and data, to help build understanding of our current and potential customers, their needs and experiences. You will provide strong, evidence-based recommendations on which customers and audiences we prioritise and the work needed to better meet their needs. You will be responsible for ensuring audience insight is used across the Engagement and Partnerships divisions to shape our priorities and our pipeline of relevant Customer research.
You will work closely with Insight and Performance and Customer Experience colleagues, developing a strong understanding and use of customer and audience insight, embedding it across all planning. You will support the shift to audience-driven prioritisation of Macmillan’s work, led by insight and evidence.
About you?
The successful candidate will have:
· Solid experience of understanding and interpreting research findings, survey tables, health data, and academic papers
· Proven experience of communicating complex findings in a clear, accessible way
· The ability to understand audience insights and evidence, and translate these into actionable guidance for teams
· Experience commissioning surveys and other research
· Experience producing reports and presenting evidence for external audiences
· Excellent stakeholder skills with experience of working with a range of colleagues and stakeholders, with different needs and priorities
