About the role
In this role you will deliver an excellent experience for our volunteer campaigners which substantially increases the breadth of engagement with stakeholders, including people affected by cancer and the cancer workforce, in support of our overall strategy and priorities.
You will grow and support our community of volunteer campaigners, ensure they are effectively supported/stewarded and receive appropriate guidance, information and advice when volunteering with us.
You will build and maintain Macmillan’s campaigner network and manage our core group of engaged campaigners.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Experience of online and offline mobilisation in support of campaign aims
- Experience of building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including colleagues, health and social care professionals, volunteers and people with lived experience
- Good project management skills, delivering plans to achieve targets and set objectives
- Experience of using Engaging Networks platform preferable
