About us
At Macmillan you'll find talented people working together to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer. We're going all out to find even better ways to help even more people who need our support. Our values are at the heart of who we are and everything we do, inspiring our thinking and guiding our actions.

Are you an experienced Producer that wants to use your talent to help millions of people living with cancer across the UK? Can you enable Macmillan to tell stories that will inspire the nation to engage with us and take action?

We’re looking for a talented Video Producer to join our Content Team and provide expertise to teams commissioning video across the organisation. You’ll be working right across the production cycle offering project management support around concept development, budgeting, briefing, planning, production, evaluation and insight. You’ll play a key role in supporting our internal clients to get the very best work from a range of creative and production suppliers. You’ll be working in a busy content team making sure all our production is on brand, well managed, innovative and good value for money.

No two days will be the same with projects ranging from promoting our fundraising events to telling the powerful stories of people living with cancer or providing essential health information to diverse communities. With video playing an ever-increasing strategic role for Macmillan, you’ll be at the forefront of everything we are delivering. Whatever you’re doing, you’ll be using your creativity and project management expertise to strengthen our position as the leading cancer support charity.

Please note this is not a hands-on production role although experience of shooting and editing is necessary. We’re looking for someone who can provide support, guidance and consultancy to video commissioning colleagues across the organisation and our external video production suppliers. This would mean advising on all stages of the video development and production process and may mean attending shoots from time to time.
