About the role

In this role you will work within our SEO team to define an SEO strategy that will increase Macmillan’s visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversion.

You will be responsible for leading SEO from a content perspective by developing a data-led plan that identifies opportunities and meets the needs of all of Macmillan’s audiences and goals.

You will lead Macmillan in becoming an SEO first organisation, working with a wide range of stakeholders to implement and embed best practice across all areas.

About you

This role requires candidates to have demonstrable experience of operating in a very similar or comparable role.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in driving SEO programs that deliver high return on investment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creatives, content and copy, PR, product managers, performance marketers and demand generation to identify and prioritize content SEO roadmap.
  • Good data analytics and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools: Google/Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google My Business, Botify, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, SEOTesting, Advanced Web Ranking or similar.
