Salary Range £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all income received and expenditure paid by Macmillan is fully recognised within our financial systems.
You will support the organisation with any queries, training, and the application of Finance Operations policies and procedures. You will be working with third parties in relation to financial information, guidance, and issue resolution.
This role requires candidates to have demonstrable experience of operating in a very similar or comparable role.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Complex reconciliation experience within Excel (or other Microsoft products), ability to handle large data sets to isolate and identify differences.
- Experience in creating and inputting accounting adjustments into finance systems.
- Experience in using finance systems and other third-party systems and portals.
- Knowledge of bank account management; reconciliations, querying, stopping transactions, and banking cash.
- Ability to engage in professional and courteous interactions with individuals.
- Working to a high level of accuracy, to agreed deadlines, and with minimal error.
- The confidence to take a proactive responsibility for resolving processing issues.
