About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO at Macmillan Cancer Support. This instrumental role will provide executive and administrative assistance to help deliver our strategic and operational objectives.
In addition to supporting the CEO, you will role-model administrative best practices, collaborating effectively across the organisation to ensure high-quality output. You’ll be proactive, responsive to the CEO’s needs, and ready to step in and support the team when required, demonstrating a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO's diary, travel, appointments, and external engagements.
- Support relationship management with the Royal Family and Senior Patrons.
- Handle correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality output.
- Oversee the CEO’s cost centre budget, including invoices and expenses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and engagement opportunities.
- Manage workflow and ensure the CEO’s time is utilised effectively.
About you:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in executive support at a senior level.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising and managing multiple tasks.
- Experience in budget management and financial processes.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
