Senior Campaigns Officer (Engagement and Activism)
Permanent
£36,000 - £42,000

Do you want to use your skills and experience to drive change to improve the lives of people with cancer in the UK? We are looking for an experienced and inspiring campaigner to play a leading role in Macmillan’s influencing work, working alongside our thousands of supporters across the UK.

Macmillan has a track-record of delivering campaign wins that enable people with cancer to live life as fully as they can – from the financial impact of cancer, to the choice of care people receive at the end of life, we champion the needs of people living with cancer.  You will be part of this team, developing smart strategies and powerful, innovative tactics that help win campaigns.

You will develop ways to deepen our engagement with existing supporters across the UK and deliver a programme of capacity-building, equipping Macmillan campaigners with the knowledge and skills they need to be effective advocates for people living with cancer.   This role demands expert knowledge of online and offline campaigning methods and audience engagement tactics.

You will have a strong track record in delivering innovative, high-profile and impactful public campaigns which influence policies and decision making. You will have a proven ability to work across multiple teams and build and maintain effective working relationships.
